Today, I’m excited to share that Marriott International, the world’s largest international hotel chain, has selected Spotnana to build the core infrastructure powering Business Access by Marriott Bonvoy™, a new comprehensive online travel booking program for small to medium-sized businesses.
Marriott is the first hotel company to work with Spotnana to provide their customers with next-generation booking and travel management experiences. This represents a major milestone in Spotnana’s journey to provide our open Travel-as-a-Service platform to travel suppliers around the world.
Delivering a seamless booking and travel management experience
Working with Marriott, we have built an API integration to Marriott’s Central Reservation System (CRS). As a result, Business Access by Marriott Bonvoy members benefit from access to the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio’s full hotel inventory and member discounts as well as benefits such as free breakfast, late checkout, mobile check-in, mobile key, and mobile chat on the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app, free in-room Wi-Fi, room upgrades and more.
In addition to booking Marriott Bonvoy hotels at a discounted rate, travelers can book flights, rail, and rental cars within one easy-to-use online portal. Since Spotnana’s platform is global, this program is initially available in the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America and is expected to expand to other regions.

Developing a customized experience for Business Access by Marriott Bonvoy
Spotnana’s API-first travel platform is designed to be white labeled, embedded, and integrated with other software products, websites, and mobile apps, making it easy for channel partners to deploy.
Marriott used a combination of Spotnana’s open APIs and advanced white labeling capabilities to deliver a Marriott Bonvoy-branded user experience. Members see a custom registration page and a custom navigation bar on every screen with the Business Access by Marriott Bonvoy logo. Website URLs and emails are also fully white labeled.
Additional key capabilities include:
- Modern travel shopping experience – Members gain access to all of Spotnana’s core capabilities, including our deep direct NDC integrations with major airlines and industry-leading capabilities for self-service cancellations and exchanges.
- Member benefits – When booking hotels, members can see discounted Marriott Bonvoy® rates and also earn loyalty points for future stays.
- Simplified travel management – Members benefit from Spotnana’s powerful tools for managing travel policies, custom fields, site messaging, and more.
- Real-time analytics and traveler safety management – A wide range of travel reports are available to members with real-time data on bookings, spending, and traveler location.
- Expense integration – Members can seamlessly manage expenses and reimbursements through a custom integration with Brex. All trip-related invoices for travel bookings are automatically uploaded to the member’s Brex account.
Providing modern technology to suppliers
Spotnana’s Travel-as-a-Service platform is open and available to everyone to deliver new capabilities to their customers or upgrade their existing infrastructure. By leveraging Spotnana’s off-the-shelf capabilities in place of bespoke development projects, suppliers like Marriott and Qantas can increase revenue, reduce development time and costs, and reduce development risks.
