Spotnana integrates with Cleartrip to expand content offerings in India

Today, I’m excited to share a new milestone in that journey—our direct API integration with Cleartrip, designed to better serve the rapidly growing Indian travel market.

A personal connection to India

India isn’t just another market for us—it’s a place close to my heart. I was born in India, and I cherish every opportunity to visit family and catch up with our Spotnana teams in Bombay and Bangalore. This personal connection makes our expansion here even more meaningful.

Recent insights from the Skift India Travel Podcast highlight how the Indian corporate travel market is booming, valued at $10.6 billion today and projected to reach $20 billion by 2030. It’s a clear indicator that India is evolving into one of the world’s fastest-growing travel hubs. We recognize this local market’s immense potential and have been working to enhance our offerings in India.

A partnership rooted in history and trust

The journey to build this integration with Cleartrip began in 2007 when I first met Stuart Crighton, Cleartrip’s Founder and CEO. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how he and his team have scaled their business.

Fun fact: The first Spotnana office in Bombay was located within Cleartrip’s headquarters! This early collaboration laid the groundwork for our enduring relationship, and it’s gratifying to see our paths converge again through this new partnership.

• Access to local airline content: Our partners and customers now have direct access to content from some of India’s leading low-cost carriers, including IndiGo, Air India Express, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air. This compliments our already extensive content sourced from global distribution systems.
• Multi-source airline bookings: Thanks to Cleartrip’s API, you can now create a single, seamless itinerary that includes flights from both Cleartrip and other airline content sources within the Spotnana ecosystem, including our growing list of direct integrations.
• Enhanced booking features: Enjoy benefits like negotiated rates, ancillary services, self-service cancellations, and GST compliance. These features are designed to improve the overall travel experience and ensure you have everything you need at your fingertips.
