Negotiated savings reports provide actionable insights

Spotnana’s real-time analytics provides travel managers with unique insights that help control travel spend, increase policy compliance, and negotiate discounts.

Our configurable, out-of-the-box reports provide a comprehensive view of travel spend and activity across all categories, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and rail. Additionally, the platform offers reporting dashboards covering compliance, unused tickets, sustainability, and other key metrics essential for managing corporate travel effectively.

Today, we are expanding our analytics to include a new report named Negotiated Savings. The Negotiated Savings report allows company administrators to view savings achieved through their company negotiated rates and TMC negotiated rates for Sabre bookings. The report features high-level metrics on total negotiated savings while offering the ability to drill down into detailed insights, such as savings by booking type, travel provider, and more. 

Within the Negotiated Savings report, administrators can gain insight into:

  • Negotiated savings over time and negotiated savings per booking. 
  • Effective discount obtained through negotiated savings across all bookings.
  • Cumulative and monthly negotiated savings.
  • Negotiated savings by rate type, including the percentage of company-negotiated savings vs. TMC-negotiated savings.
  • Spend, savings, and discounts by booking type (air, hotel, car, rail) and vendor name.
  • Negotiated savings and effective discount by vendor and booking type.
  • Detailed transaction-level data.

It’s simple to track negotiated savings along with a variety of metrics while using Spotnana.

To calculate negotiated savings, we track the published rates available to all users on the Spotnana platform alongside the company and TMC-negotiated rates. By comparing these rates, we identify the savings achieved through negotiation.

Reporting can be downloaded, filtered, and sorted in multiple ways to provide travel administrators with flexibility and control. With visibility into savings, travel managers can accurately report on their achieved savings to internal stakeholders, use the data to further negotiate with suppliers, and continue to improve their travel programs.
